# Restart App

Restart an app on a Cloud Phone.
- **Preconditions**: the phone must be powered on and not held by another member. **Whether the app is installed is not checked** — a package that is absent simply does nothing.
- **Completion**: the response confirms the command was dispatched to the service, not that the app restarted. Confirm with `/cloudphone/app/installedList` or by observing the device.
